SedgeHammer+® offers a unique product concept in a more convenient packaging size while maintaining the same efficacy of nutsedge control that the market has grown accustom to with the SedgeHammer® brand name. SedgeHammer+® contains a dry, non-ionic surfactant in the formulation, eliminating the need for additional additives when mixing. The built-in surfactant will reduce confusion for the consumer and ensure great results when treating for nutsedge.
SedgeHammer herbicide is a selective herbicide for postemergence control of sedges such as purple and yellow nutsedge in established lawns, ornamental turfgrass, and landscaped areas. SedgeHammer herbicide may be applied to commercial and residential turf and on other non-crop sites including: airports, cemeteries, fallow areas, golf courses, landscaped areas, public recreation areas, residential property, roadsides, school grounds, sod or turf seed farms, sports fields, landscaped areas with established woody ornamental and other similar sites.
Its relatively short half life, intermediate soil binding properties and low use rates make movement into surface or ground water highly unlikely.
NOTE: Avoid contact of this product to leaves of desirable plants since foliar injury, discoloration or death may result.
